Art Gallery Curator
Samae Chlebowski
Samae Horner-Chlebowski is the mother of two beautiful children and the wife of Dr. Chris. She is an alumna from SOU (formerly, SOSC) and earned her Masters of Teaching Art from Lewis and Clark College in Portland. While in college, she always dreamed of returning to Ashland to raise her children. She moved back to the valley in 2012, a move she has never regretted. When she's not curating the art shows in the clinic, you can find Samae painting in her own art studio or working on short documentary films with a focus on local social-justice stories.
Registered Nurse
Carrie Crowthers
Carrie has had a lifelong relationship with holistic health and is happy to serve those on their health and healing journey. When not serving as a nurse in the community, Carrie maintains her work-life balance with many adventure sports and time with her family.
Medicinary Manager
Alima Matejcek
Alima’s passion for herbal medicine and alternative-healing practices developed after surviving severe childhood illnesses. She was fortunate to have had access to acupuncture and naturopathic care along with herbal remedies. As a result, and over the course of time, her health improved dramatically. Alima feels honored to bring her life experience and training, educational background, and compassion to Ashland Natural Medicine. She is dedicated to serving the health and healing needs of Ashland families, the community, and beyond.
Patient Coordinator
Skylar Lee

She enjoys spending time outdoors, whether exploring nature or simply soaking up fresh air with loved ones. Helping others is one of Skylar’s true passions, and she finds fulfillment in building connections and making a positive difference in people’s lives. Outside of work, she loves being with friends and family, creating memories, and living life to the fullest.
Patient Coordinator
Jen Trailor
An Oregon native, Jen feels truly blessed to live in such a gorgeous and vibrant corner of the world. She grew up on the coast but has made her home in Ashland for the past 20 years. Many may recognize her from local jazz performances or from playing with her bands, and she has also worked in the music scene booking musicians and coordinating countless events. Deeply cherishing community, she values the many ways people can show up for one another, and she looks forward to studying to become a certified death doula to provide compassionate and holistic end-of-life care. She is profoundly grateful for the warm welcome she has received at ANM and is delighted to be part of such a wonderful team.
Patient Coordinator
Kamalla
Kamalla is very passionate about holistic health and natural medicine, a path she’s walked since childhood, rooted in the healing power of herbal remedies and homeopathy. This deep connection to wellness guided her in raising her own family, blending yoga, meditation, and natural healing practices into their daily lives.
A certified yoga instructor, Kamalla has dedicated her career to roles that reflect her commitment to well-being, from a nature hiking guide to teaching yoga and fitness as well as a personal assistant and a key team member at an award-winning retreat center. She also brought her love of the ocean into her practice by teaching stand-up paddleboard yoga.
Kamalla’s true joy is immersing herself in nature, whether it’s simply picnicking, or camping, swimming, paddleboarding, or forest bathing. She shares these treasured moments with her devoted husband of 30 years, their four children, and five grandchildren, creating a life rich in wellness and the simple beauty of the natural world. Through her work and personal life, Kamalla embodies a deep, unwavering commitment to the nurturing power of holistic living.
